The Peerless Preventative Maintenance Program
The Peerless Group is focused on providing machine solutions that provide the highest value through the lowest total cost of ownership. This can be seen in our machine designs and their construction, as well as the significant after-sale support that our organization provides.
Our customers can also play a central role in the long term performance of the equipment through proper maintenance of the machines after commissioning. Our manuals as well as our website attempt to make it easy for the bakery to keep the equipment in optimal running condition, but we understand that the pace of the bakery may not allow the focus to always be put on preventative maintenance.
We have devised a solution with our Peerless Preventative Maintenance Program (PPMP). This is a unique program that allows you to contract The Peerless Group to perform the key maintenance necessary for the long term, efficient operation of your bakery. Aside from trained factory technicians performing the preventative maintenance on your equipment, our people also assess the performance of the machinery (and equipment around it) to make suggestions to enhance the performance of your line.
The PPMP is scheduled with your bakery in advance and around your schedule so that your production needs can be met. While the PPMP is different for each machine we make, the general deliverables are:
• Conduct opening session with the bakery to outline the process
• Compile a list of issues the bakery would like reviewed in addition to the actual PM work
• Work with bakery personnel to act as training and education aide
• Review Parts inventory at bakery
• Provide training of operators and maintenance personal as needed/requested.
• Conduct close-out meeting
• Issue a hard copy report of maintenance done and any issues seen.
• Follow up one week later with the bakery for questions, etc.
The PPMP can be purchased at the time of machine purchase, or can be done at any time thereafter. We strongly suggest that you consider the purchase prior to new machine commissioning, but we also provide this service for machines that have been installed previously.
